I want to start off by saying that I absolutely love this product and I was very worried to purchase them to begin with. My biggest fears were that they would not fit because I have an extended cab, that I would not be able to align my vehicle, and that it would not give me the lift that I desired (3" front). I took a chance anyway and decided to go with the purchase. I originally had a 3" spindle lift kit from Rough Country, but did not know when I purchased that they also did a 2" offset (pushed wheels out 2"), which I found ugly and less than desirable. I changed those knuckles/spindles out with the factory set and used this American Automotive spacer lift kit instead. As you can see my truck is an extended cab (I believe they called it SuperCab that year) and the spacers fit perfectly. Some of the information I read was conflicted on if these would work with extended cab and I can say that they do.Some reviewers/people answering questions have stated that they were unable to get an alignment after using these spacers. I went with the full 3" front lift and the alignment shop was able to align my truck. I already had the camber bolts and I am positive those are required to get a good alignment. As you can see from my picture, the camber bolts are nearly maxed out to allow for proper alignment, but it is possible.I was able to get the 3" lift that was advertised and it worked well with my 1" block in the rear to give me a level look. If I could go back, I would have purchased this along with a 1" rear block and never would have purchased a knuckle/spindle lift kit. The one tradeoff with this is that ;you do lose a little cushion in the ride as the spring is compressed quite a bit. As you can see from the zoomed out picture of my upper/lower control arm/drive knuckle picture the bottom part of the lower control arm does not have a lot of room till it hits the guard.I included the last picture to show where the spacers go when installed. Some people had questions and I figured a visual representation would be best. They slide into the top with the smaller diameter section pointed down. The coil then goes on the smaller diameter section of the spacer. My truck is a 1997 Ford F150 Super Cab with 265/75R/16 tires (31.6" Diameter). If you have any questions, please ask. These have been a great purchase.
