My wife and I are huge DIYers. We tackle virtually all home renovation projects ourselves. When we decided to do a tile job which required a ~7 foot strip of tile leveled in the middle of the wall, I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a laser level. Since we also do flooring, I purchased this one which can lay a straight line on the floor as well. We gave it a test the other day and it performed flawlessly. I would for sure recommend a 4d model if you are in construction.Accuracy was better than advertised. 1/16” @ 35ft actual. 1/9” @ 30ft advertised. Love the 4th plane on the bottom of the level. Nice pack out case for storage/transporting. Only improvement would be knowing about it sooner! self leveling works great as well as the locking feature. I only request items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review.This is a really neat laser. I was looking for something that could help me hang anything from pictures to cabinets. Wow, this can do so much more. I will start off with my overall impression of this unit and what’s included. This comes in a very nice die cut foam storage and carrying case (pictured). It is battery powered and has a removable rechargeable battery. Which, for the most part on tools I don’t use on a regular basis I don’t like. This is because when I pull them out after months of not using them, the rechargeable battery is dead. But, if I use a tool on a regular basis, a rechargeable battery saves you money over replacing disposable batteries all the time. And that is the first big plus on this laser. It also comes with an adaptor that you can put four normal AA batteries in and power the unit. They even include the AA batteries. I like the thought of having both options.This laser was easy to attach to my tripod assembly (pictured). Once powered I was amazed at how bright this laser was. I had it set up in a room with bright LED overhead lights. I could easily see the laser line on the walls (pictured) and floor (pictured). It was hard to get a picture of, but I set this up in the middle of a large room (30x24) and the vertical laser line was easily seen on all four walls.I was able to easily mount my cabinet (pictured) with the help of this laser. This is a very handy laser level that is full of features and feels very well made. I am impressed.As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, and for me at least, this is a tool I am kicking myself for not buying earlier.Ya llevo un año con este nivel.Buen material, no se siente frágil, la luz está excelente, no le pide nada a la competencia ( dewalt por ejemplo).... la batería es muy durable, todo un dia de trabajo prendido y sin problemas. Lo único es que debería traer 2 baterías, o decir donde conseguirlas.
