Replaced the spike feet on my 4 foot column speakers. Much more friendly than the spikes. I placed locking nuts on the top to remove a cutting hazard.They were easy to install and work well. Likely to slide on wood or vinyl flooring, though.I buy lots of hardware on Amazon, it's often OK at best. These are the real deal. I'm sure there's nicer versions out there, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially for the price. Sturdy, a satisfying feel to everything, and in limited use so far they're doing a great job under a very heavy piece of furniture (~150 lb custom bed frame). Fully inserted floor clearance is probably just under 1/2", which is a very attractive gap to my eye. I haven't tested at all, but I'd guess you could extend another 3/4" to 1" before things got wobbly.If memory serves, you install with a 3/8" drill bit, then tap the T nut into the hole. Worked great even into baltic birch, which is quite hard. Installing 4 feet took me under 10 minutes including figuring out the system.The T nut will go about 3/8" deep, and fully inserted the shank on the feet probably goes about 1" deep. So if you're installing into a thin area (say 3/4" board) plan accordingly. I don't see any reason you couldn't shorten the shank a bit if needed.With these, you get what it says on the tin, no asterisks. I'll definitely buy another pack for my next furniture project.I live in a an appartment and floors are not 100% level. This is great for old and new furnature to have them level, especially office desks etc.Used them on my bench grinder stand. The small rubber pads were not enough to keep the grinder from "walking" while trying to use it so these worked great.Worked great to level up my miter saw table.Work just as advertised!
