This level is easy to use and shows to be highly accurate when checked with a level and plumb line. I've been using it for several months to project leveling lines up to 40 feet away with no loss of clarity or other performance issues. The included tripod is not the most durable, but will work well if not treated too harshly. If/when it fails, the level can be used with any standard tripod, although the fit of the included mounting adapter is a little wonky, even with the included tripod. That fit is not crucial, since the self-leveling feature of the level itself works flawlessly. Comes with a nice case for protection when not in use. Visibility is great indoors, but limited in bright light or outdoor daylight conditions. That said, the green laser is a significant improvement over the standard red. Compared to other competing items, the price is good for the performance
