For the price this is an excellent laser level. It has all the functionality you would expect from the namebrand varieties.The laser is very bright. I did not test it outside, but inside my bright kitchen I had no problems seeing the line. I set it up in my living room and the laser went all the way across the house into the bedroom hall. That was probably close to 75'. The line brightness and narrowness is adjustable. You can reduce the brightness and get a finer line that is more precise.The included case and components are convenient. The magnetic jig works great on the included plate but the magnets are not strong enough to hang from metal drywall corners.I do have a couple complaints, but nothing major. First, it beeps if it is not within the self leveling tolerance. The beeping is quite loud and I could not find a way to turn it off. Secondly, it would be helpful to have a couple bubble levels built in to help adjust it quickly to stop the beeping. As is you have to eyeball it and figure out which way it need to be adjusted.The build quality of this is very good. It is heavy and solid. It is quite a bit larger than the typical cross line laser level.Besides my minor complaints this really is an excellent laser level for the price. Save yourself some money and get this.
