I have been wanting to make a box that holds solo sized cups and a marker. We often host large family gatherings and everyone is used to marking their cup with their name, but the marker doesn’t always stay by the cups. When I saw this box which was perfectly made for this, I had to order it. It is just the right size, and comes with 2 metallic paint-type markers that show up on any color of cup. The markers are a tight fit, but because the box is made of real wood I was able to enlarge the already drilled holes using a larger drill bit so they would fit the markers better. The marker will smear on the cup if you touch the writing, so you have to let it dry for a few minutes first. I will be switching to permanent markers instead, but they will have to be a thin shaft, as I don’t think I can drill a hole large enough for a regular sized sharpie as the edge of the box is too thin for that. Overall, this a good design, and fun item to have. I would order it again.
