I ordered this Runner because I needed a LOW height rug that would allow a door to open fully over it. When I saw a pile height listed as 0.2" in the exact size I was looking for, in a nice colour, I didn't think twice about ordering it.When I get the carpet, I see that the fabric has been knotted around the edges (to tie off the fabric), making the entire perimeter of the rug height actually 7/16" of an inch (I measured with a vernier caliper). As such this runner doesn't even come nowhere close to clearing my door to open. 0.2" to 7/16" is a big difference.More, about size...- The length of the runner is actually 8' 1 and 3/8th's of an inch. So a little longer than the 8 ft as advertised.- Label on the box is listed as 2' 6". But it actually is 3 ft. So the label is wrong.Yes, it does say on the label "all sizes approximate" but this is worthless when somebody has already paid for and received the product. Why not just list your sizes properly?
