Small, light, compact built like a tank; fits inside camera bag and is made to be used outdoors. Quick and easy set-up. Rated among the best similar-sized tripods.Consistently impressed with the Leofoto products. Quality is as good as RSS. Very sturdy; knobs have very positive lock. Quality is better than the Benro tripods, in my opinion (I have both).Loosening the platform for panning with a tall object mounted is difficult. This is my third LeoFoto tripod to go along with my studio tripod and my 364c. The latching mechanisms are as good as they get, the legs are solid, the twist locks are more positive than any others I’ve tried. Their no center column design is brilliant, allowing them to use larger diameter legs while still folding down small. I’m using the 223c with it’s built-in leveling base for on-location pano shotsI would have given this a 5-star rating because it's an excellent quality tripod. Unhappily, it's not meant for your "standard" camera with 1/4-20 thread. This tripod has a 3/8-16 camera mounting post! Nowhere in the description is that mentioned and I had to return it. Too bad because it's a great tripod otherwise.I was blown away by the quality. Really well-made. It is bulkier than I wished, though. The 2 leg extensions could be 1 or zero. You don't really use the legs to achieve level due to the wonderful leveling base. I would rather save the weight since the leg extensions really extend very little. For the head, I got the separate RH-0 which adds fluid panning. This has become my favorite little tripod! I have the non leveling base version but plan to purchase this one for work/video. It's super light but stable, gets really low, but it's really strong. I have placed a mid sized video camera package (Sony FX6 with rails, and external monitor, V-mount batteries, follow focus, etc) which weighs about 25 pounds, plus a Manfrotto head on it, and it works great. Perfect on a table, or to get a really low angle!Landscape photography low anglesSturdy good small trypod for my sony a7iiiAnd sigma 20mm 1.4 dg dg art and sigma 24-70 2.8Perfect for table top macro/stacking
