I was looking for a wire unit to for some items in our kitchen. I found this 18"x24" unit. It didn't need to be too tall. This unit is 63" which was perfect. I also wanted it to be on casters so it would be easy to move. I will be getting back to that.It comes in two packages. The shelves in one and the uprights in the other. So if you didn't catch that the uprights come full length, not in sections. Note if you heard something rattling it is the feet screws inside the box, that is normal.I always start by installing the casters. I used casters I had already. The uprights come without the feet nuts in place. That made it easy to use my old casters with pins and a push in mount. With in a few minutes using a safety malet I had all of my casters mounted and I could begin the rest of assembly. I start by sliding all of the shelves on the uprights with the casters and then stand the unit up. So I install the top one first. After that I move the next shelve up and hold it with 2 spring clamps off the top shelve. You do the same for the rest.The uprights are numbered so it is easy to see that the positions match. Since it is free standing and mobile you can move it and stay in one place to put it together.I have assembled several of these kind of units before but this was the easiest so for. Most steel wire racks have hard plastic clips that can move when putting the shelves in place. These clips are softer and didn't move even when repositioning the shelves a few times.20 minutes, 2 spring clamps and a mallet and the unit was completely assembled.Thank youCheers'
