? I brought this for my 2007 yamaha R6s and I'm very mad, disappointed and upset with this item. I'm mad that I waist my money on this peace of trash. When the item arrived it was damaged and broken. The bottom of the item was not attached to the cover part.?This seat cowl is not meant for and will NOT FIT on YZF R6S model years six and up. If you own years 03-05 then yes it should fit but don’t take my word on that I own a 06. This seat is meant for the old wider body style.I bought this part even though it received a terrible review from another amazon shopper (Pierre C) and I regretted buying it. I should have listened. It really was an awful piece of crap. A part of the cowl was chipped off. The screws that were holding the two main pieces together were loose because the threads on the cheap plastic cowl were stripped. I couldn't believe anyone would mail such a shoddy part out of their warehouse. Don't buy this part from Yana Shiki, it's awful.I can't believe this would be shipped to a customer. Couldn't imagine a worse product. The top of the cowl is attached to the bottom by four screws. Two of the screw holes are stripped out so the bottom and top of the cowl aren't really attached to each other. Two of the screws have two washers under them and two have zero washers? The black padded part is all scuffed up. Worst of all, the top painted portion of the cowl is cracked and broken.The top and bottom of the cowl came undone upon installing the part. The screws holding the two parts came undone. The grooves to hold the screw in place had vanished. Just glad it came off right at the installation stage rather than on the highway while ridding potential turning the top part into a projectile that could have caused and accident.I like the color it match perfect.????????????
