I have weirdly sensitive skin, in that it will occasionally get irritated in seemingly random spots with no real change to my routine. I've worn watches all my life, and Apple Watches for several years, without issue until a recent "flare up" on my wrist.Full disclosure, I should have been more vigilant about keeping my watch and bands thoroughly cleaned after swimming/exercise and just daily wear. I didn't, and that's on me. But nevertheless, I was stuck with skin irritation anywhere in my watch band area, and it was especially pronounced where the clasp sat and the band looped under itself with a traditional band.After consulting the vast medical expertise of Google, it seemed perhaps a solo loop would be helpful. There are of course silicone ones that have no buckle whatsoever, and those worked great for my swimming days. I also wanted something in the fabric variety, and found these packs of nylon bands with an adjustable strap. For a reasonable price, I decided to give it a shot, selecting my standard issue colors of black, blue and gray. I am nothing if not predictably dull on that front.Like any Apple Watch band, these are easy to use--slide the ends into the slots on the watch and they lock into place with the magnets. The size was quick and easy to adjust to my exact comfort level, and the bands felt sturdy enough for routine daily wear.Keeping with the theme of being more careful about protecting my skin, they also are easy enough to clean. Nylon cleans nicely and with some time to dry out, I feel comfortable that irritants are being removed from the bands and not re-irritating my skin.The proof is in the results, and using mostly solo loop bands, including these during the bulk of most days after going for a swim to exercise and swapping out the bands, the uncomfortable and irritating rash has subsided. Can't ask for more than that.I'm only a few months in, so I'm not able to talk about long-term durability, but I can say there's nothing I've experienced so far that has me concerned that these won't hold up for a nice, long time.
