These are great little WiFi Antennas for the price. I get about +8dbi more signal strength on all WiFi signals with these coupled to the Sabrent USB WiFi adapter. They are mostly directional, you get the best gain strength pointed at target, but the off-axis signals are very close to the strength of the stock type standard antenna. The beamwidth seems huge, just point it in the general direction of the signal. You can turn these things any which way you want to. They are a bit more obvious, but are lightweight. I just leave mine on all the time now for the extra gain. For the small price...you get +8dbi or so more gain across the board, compared to the stock antenna that comes with an external WiFi adapter. I get 5 signal bars on nearly every WiFi signal within a half block radius. This panel also seems to work the best on the weakest WiFi signals. I would highly suggest you buy these if you want the maximum WiFi signal strength, for various needs.
