The print size and clarity of the print in this edition are substandard. It is very difficult to read. There are copious notes on nearly every page. for a Bach player, these are mostly not needed. The same goes for the fingering. This edition might be good for someone studying the music from an armchair. I suspect the copious notes at the bottom of the page might be a bit out of date and that a modern Urtext edition with larger clearer text would be better. They also increase the number of bars per line which again makes sight-reading most difficult. If you wish to perform this music I would recommend an Urtext edition.
